Christmas Morning
Thank you to everyone for all my presents! I was so excited about Santa coming, that I woke up at 5:30am this morning (but eventually went back to sleep until 6:30am) Thank you very much for making my very 1st Christmas so special. I love and miss you all!
Love,

Christmas Cards
I am very behind on my Christmas Cards this year. I didn't order enough, so I had to order more this morning. I will hopefully have them in the mail on Monday! They are on their way!

We have a new member to our family!
We added a new member to our family last weekend. We went to Petsmart and they had dogs up for adoption. So, Sammy has a new friend to play with. His name is Oliver and he is 4-5 months old. He is a border collie/australian shephard mix. He is a very sweet, laid back dog. It's amazing the change we see in Sammy too. She is not near as hyper as she used to be. And they play very well together. Savanna just LOVES both of them! If they aren't giving her the attention she thinks she should get, she is not happy.
Speaking of Savanna. We went back to the doctor AGAIN yesterday. Daycare called and said they thought she might have pink eye. She doesn't have pink eye, but she does have an ear infection which has caused her to start coughing again, and have a red, draining eye. Again, you would never guess she was sick. She acts just fine! She now weighs 21lbs 11oz, and is 28 inches long!

It's that time of year!
I have been asked a lot what to do with Savanna's Christmas Presents since we will be in Texas for Christmas.
Matt will be in Springfield from December 17-21st for duck season. If you want to send Savanna's presents back with him then just call him and let him know. Otherwise, if you need our mailing address, email me and I'll send it to you.

I can't believe it's Christmas time already! I am counting down the days until Christmas break (18 to go!)

7 months old!
Savanna is now 7 months old!! It's amazing how fast the time goes. She weighs 20lbs 13oz, and is 27 1/2 inches long. She is now wearing size 18months in clothes, and is still in a Size 4 diaper. She is halarious, and LOVES Sammy! She is now in the stage where she needs to be "entertained" all the time. If you walk out of the room and leave her, she is not a happy girl.
We are looking forward to our Thanksgiving, and hope everybody enjoys theirs too!

Thanksgiving & Christmas Holiday's
We have been asked a lot about our plans for the holidays, so I thought I'd post an entry on our plans.
We are staying here in Texas for both Thanksgiving & Christmas this year. Matt will be gone next year at the holiday's, so Savanna and I will for sure be home then!
We hope everybody has a Happy & Safe Thanksgiving!

Christmas & 6 month pictures
I have been way behind on getting professional pictures taken of Savanna, so here they are! We did a combo Christmas & 6 month. They turned out REALLY good. Unfortunately, we can't afford to buy pictures for everybody, so if you are interested in ordering them from Sears, send me an email and I will get you the info to order online. Enjoy!!

I forgot to mention on my last entry that Savanna has gained 1.5 lbs and grew 1/2 inch since her 6 month check-up on October 19th. She now weighs 21lbs 3oz and is 27.5 inches long! Here are some pictures from this afternoon. Savanna's cough sounds much better and her nose isn't as congested as it was!

Follow-Up Appointment
Savanna had her follow-up appointment today. Her oxygen level was at 95 which is MUCH better than before. Still not as high as it should be, but a good level for the situation.
She is still really wheezy and has lots of nose congestion. They did another breathing treatment with albuteral today at the clinic (they did 1 at the clinic Wednesday, then another at the hospital). The doctor said it did help some, so Savanna will now be using an inhaler with albuteral every 4 hours for the next couple of days. The doctor said after a couple of days then to just use it when she has a coughing "attack". After a few days, she should be done coughing and hopefully have a snot-free nose. She said Savanna hit the peak of RSV the other night and we are now on the downside. So that was definitely good news! You would still never guess she is a sick baby. Here are some pictures to prove it! :-)
