Sleeping through the night...

For the past 2 nights, Savanna has slept 9 HOURS STRAIGHT!!!! HOORAY!!! Of course, I kept waking up thinking she would be awake soon, but that's okay. Hopefully this is the beginning of a permanent night time routine!!!!

Sleeping on the job!

Savanna had so much fun playing with her activity mat, that she just decided it might make a good bed! She must have really been tired, because she doesn't fall asleep just anywhere. She has taught herself how to fight sleep, so naptime isn't as easy as it used to be :-) She does great at night though. She started sleeping in her own bed last weekend, so I just lay her in her crib, and she will go to sleep when she is ready. She goes between 6-7 hours at night before waking up. Now that she is in her crib, it's almost like she has gone backwards. When she was still sleeping in our room, some nights she'd go 8 hours. During the day is another story though....

We are very excited to come to Springfield! We will be leaving here Saturday evening after our friend Willow's 3rd birthday party! So we will be in town LATE Saturday night/Early Sunday morning. Matt has it planned so we will get into town to get just enough sleep to get up Sunday morning and head to...where else...Cracker Barrel :-) :-)

Savanna's 2 Month Doctor Visit

Savanna had her 2 month well baby visit today. She is 13lbs & 23 inches long. She is in the 90th percentile for her weight, and the 50th percentile for her length. During her exam today the doctor discovered that what I thought was baby acne is actually Eczema. She just has a mild case, and the doctor said that it is possible that she could out grow it. The rash that is on her neck is actually Eczema, instead of a rash from her formula which is what I thought. So they gave me medicine for her neck and her face.

She also got 3 shots today. So far she is her same ol' self. No fever or crankiness, so hopefully it stays that way for the rest of the day!

She will have her next appointment when she is 4 months old!!!

Home Sweet Home

Savanna & I made it home safely last night. We had a great time in Springfield and are looking forward to being back in 2 weeks for the 4th of July. Matt will get to come with us this time. Savanna did great on all the flights. Slept the entire time!

Just a bit of news. My Great-Grandma Vera (my mom's grandma on her dad's side)passed away June 13, 2007, the day after her 91st birthday. The memorial service will be Saturday, June 23, 2007.

Day at the Lake

Matt's unit had a "family fun day" at the lake yesterday. It was mandatory for soldiers to go, so Savanna and I went with him. We had a pretty good time. It was really warm and sunny, and we were tired by the time the day was over. She was very good, and slept most of the time we were there!
