Update & Address for Matt

I talked to Matt tonight. He is doing pretty good. They finally got their helicopters off the boat, so they have been extremely busy. He said he is exhausted. I do have an address for him. If you are wanting it, please email me for it. I am not allowed to post it on the blog.

Please DO NOT send any packages yet. They don't want any packages sent until he is actually in Iraq. If you send it to soon, there is a good chance it will not make it to him. I will let you know when he has made it, and when we've been given the "OK" to mail things.

**Savanna and I are leaving tomorrow morning for Springfield! We will see everyone when we get there!

Coming to Springfield in 3 days!

For anybody who doesn't already know, Savanna and I are coming to Springfield! We will be there from June 28-July 11th. Only 3 days until we leave!

Savanna in the bathtub...

Here are some pictures of Savanna in the bathtub. She crawled in all by herself and was playing. I watched her to it, but she didn't see me. It was halarious. She loves to take a bath (even if there is no water....)

**Talked to Matt again last night. I was totally wrong about not hearing from him for a few days! He is doing good. "Same ol' stuff, different day" as he tells me. He said he is going to try to call this morning so he can talk to Savanna. **

Matt update...

I talked to Matt about 10:00pm last night and he made it safely to Kuwait. It was a very short conversation because he was exhausted and headed to bed. I am just happy to know he made it okay. I'm not sure when he is "headed north" because he isn't allowed to tell me on the phone. If he does, it will disconnect us, and everybody else using the phone, as a "breach of security." (at least that's how it was last time he was there)

Update on Savanna & Matt

I keep trying to post a video & pictures, but now it won't let me, so I'll do it later...

**Savanna now weighs 26lbs 4oz and is 31 1/2 inches long. She is a very busy little thing since she has started walking. It's hard to get decent pictures of her on the move!!

Matt left late Saturday/early Sunday morning. He called me Sunday afternoon from Maine, and he was headed for Ireland. I haven't talked to him since then. I probably won't for a couple of days, unless I get lucky :-) When I do talk to him, I'll post an update, so check back often. It's to hard to call everybody ever time I talk to him.

This is a 15 month trip....so hopefully he'll be home sometime next September. By the time he gets home, Savanna will be 2 1/2 years old.... As soon as I get an address for him, I will post it for anybody who wants to send him a package.

It's official...Savanna is walking!

Savanna is walking! She can stand up by herself and take off. But she will only walk when she wants to....She still crawls most of the time. She CAN walk and thats what counts!
