15 Month Appointment

Savanna had her 15 month appointment today. She weighs 26lbs 11oz and is 31 1/2 inches long. She is still in the 90th percentile for her weight, but now is in the 80th percentile for her height. She still wears a size 5 diaper, and will be wearing size 3T for sure by this winter. She is an expert walker now. Most of the time she is trying to run (usually away from me)

She has a mouthful of teeth. 11 total, with another one trying to come through.

The doctor said she is "perfect", and who am I to argue :-)

She will go back to the doctor at 2 years old!

I'm a climber!

It has been very hot here the past week or so....temperatures running between 102-103. As you can see, Savanna spends a lot of time in just her diaper!

Movie Time

Here are some pictures of Savanna watching a movie. She LOVES Tigger and Pooh. In the 1st picture you can see she is totally zoned into her movie, she didn't even notice I was standing in front of her. In the 2nd picture she finally looks up long enough to smile for me!

Matt now has Internet in his room. This will make it much easier to communicate with him. He is still very busy, and more than likely won't get to talk to us on a daily basis like last time he was deployed, but I'll take what I can get! We got to see him on webcam yesterday, and he got to see us. Savanna was so excited to see him! I think she was a little confused though. She waved to him and blew him kisses. It's so hard to believe he has only been gone for 5 weeks! It feels like forever!

Matt Update

I did forget to post that Matt made it safely to Iraq. He has been there just short of 2 weeks. I'm sorry I didn't post sooner. Being in Springfield made it hard for me to do much posting. We are now in the clear to mail packages. His address changed yet again, earlier this week (this is about the 4th or so address change..grrrr). I sent an email to people who had asked for it, so if you didn't get my email, let me know and I will send you his address.
