So big!!
Savanna had a doctor appointment today to remove the "R.A.D" (restrictive airway disease, or a mild form of asthma) label from her medical records. She has gone over 2 years without needing any type of respiratory medication or having any type of doctors or ER visits that were respiratory related. We are so happy that it is removed! Having any kind of medical label in the military life is a pain in the rear, especially when it's not necessary, and she no longer needs it.
At today's visit Savanna weighed 50.3lbs and is 45 inches tall! She is still wearing size 6T, but will soon be in a 7. She is wearing size 12 shoe. She is our big girl!

Snuza Halo Basic Monitor
It's amazing how things have changed in the 4 years since I was pregnant with Savanna. I can't believe all the new, awesome stuff they have come out with!
This is my newest piece of "equipment" I am loving. They now make these movement monitors that help prevent SIDS. It alerts you when there hasn't been movement in so many seconds. Most of them are sensor pads that go under the mattress or sheets. The negative thing I have read about them is that when the baby is big enough to roll around, they move off the sensor and the alarm goes off a lot.

Upon doing research on these monitors, I found this amazing one that clips to the baby's diaper. If it doesn't sense movement after 15 seconds, it vibrates to "wake" the baby up and get them moving. If it senses no movement after another 15 seconds, the alarm goes off to alert the parents. The reason I like this one, is that it's mobile. I am definitely getting this one instead of the one with the sensor under the mattress/sheets.

Furniture is purchased!
Not only was it stressful swiping my card for payment, but so was the drive home! The furniture store isn't allowed to tie anything down, and didn't tell me this until all was said and done, so I was praying the crib wouldn't fall out of the back of the truck on the way home. Just happy to have it purchased and one less thing to worry about!

Lyla's Travel System!
Us girls are in Anchorage and while at Babies R Us, I ordered Lyla's travel system! They had it in stock, but the box was to heavy to take home on the airplane, so the sales associate ordered it for me for free shipping. That saved me $60 I would have had to pay for shipping if I ordered it myself! Didn't get much else bought, but it is a relief to have this purchase made. Now, on to a new crib...
